YAY!

Chris got accepted to take the Shreveport municipal fire civil service test! I am so excited I can't even contain myself! The test is in 7 days so please pray for him!

Memories

Today I went over to my grandmothers house to help my dad pack up her stuff and get it ready so me and Chris can move in. 2 hours later I leave with 6 boxes of stuff. Art stuff...sewing stuff...a couple of my grandmothers paintings, etc. I cannot wait to go through it all! Anyway the house is looking good.

Checklist:
Sort through a few more boxes
Paint
Fix tile in bathroom
Get a fridge
Deep clean floors and countertops
Take a trip to Goodwill
Have a garage sale

I got a sewing machine!

So today I got a sewing machine! I have been wanting to learn how to sew for a while so needless to say I am very excited. I know this sounds crazy but I don't even know how to thread the needle! I have read a couple blog entries lately about people wanting to strangle something after learning how to sew...kinda scarey. But we will see how it goes!
