Bridesmaids

Here is a couple photos of the girls trying on the bridesmaids dresses. We decided they will all be watermelon and my moh will have a lighter pink sash/ribbon.

Save the date cards

Since we have booked a date its time for save the date cards! Here are three I have designed so far...

Bridesmaids dresses

So me, Kaitlyn and Jacqueline went to Davids Bridal today and found the bridesmaids dresses. The color is watermelon and it looks different in person than in this picture but you get the idea. The taffeta dresses I originally liked were awful in person. This dress is short, comfy, cute and they can wear it again. We have decided on pearls and the cutest heels ever!

I also found another dress I love! Its $150 more than the other one but it is beautiful. The same pearl white color and silk material which feels so good! I couldn't stop rubbing it today! Anyway this weekend we are going back with my mom so she can see it on me. It may be the winner! I cannot wait to see everyones face when they see me! Its not something I would normally wear but its great!

Dresses

In a couple days we are going to look at Bridesmaids dresses! I am super excited!

We're booked!

We have booked Moonlight and Lace for our wedding. Just mailed off the deposit today so there is no turning back!!

I am super excited and waaaay nervous about the whole weather issue because we are getting married outdoors. But all we can do is pray and hope! Now the fun part of the planning begins!!

I am ready to tackle some DIY projects. Here are some on my list in no particular order...

-Flip flop shoe bucket

-Gift card box

-Bathroom need it baskets

-Ceremony program basket

-Candy buffet and favor boxes

I am going to try and do the flower bouquets and boutinierres. I already put together one successful boutinierre. If I had better flowers to begin with it would have been amazing!

I am so behind

So I just realized I am real behind on blog updates. I have been extremely busy with things lately.. so here they are...

- Chris went and took his basic ed test and passed!
- We just got the orientation dates for the cpat mentoring classes...which is next week!
- After that he will do classes for about a month and a half then take the test Sep 14-18.

- We shot our first wedding last weekend! Pics are on our website.
- We picked out watermelon as one of our wedding colors which is the color the maids will wear.
- Me and my mom are going to try on dresses this Sat at Davids Bridal! And I am very excited!

Heather and Ryans Wedding
